AlphaMAX Terms

These terms cover your business's use of AlphaMAX, the software provided by Contractor Alpha for managing leads, quotes, jobs, invoices, reviews and customer messages. By signing in, you agree to them on behalf of your business.

Pricing and billing are set out in your agreement with us. If it disagrees with these terms, your agreement wins.

Keep your password private and don't share logins; add each team member as their own user instead. Your account owner decides who is on the team and what they can see.

You're responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us right away if you think someone has gained access without permission.

Your customer list, leads, quotes, jobs, invoices and messages belong to your business. We store and process them only to provide AlphaMAX to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for having the right to collect and use your customers' information, and for answering their privacy requests. We'll help you do that.

Use AlphaMAX only for your own lawful business. Don't use it to send spam, harass anyone, break the law, or try to access other businesses' data or the system itself.

Texting rules: only text customers who gave you their number and agreed to hear from you. Never upload purchased or rented contact lists. Honor every STOP request immediately, and never re-add someone who opted out. Respect quiet hours and the texting laws where your customers live.

Reviews: ask every customer the same way, and don't offer anything in return for a review or a good rating.

We may suspend sending, or your account, if your use puts our phone numbers, other clients, or the law at risk. We'll tell you why and work with you to fix it.

When your customers pay an invoice online, the payment is processed by Stripe and paid directly into your own Stripe account. Contractor Alpha never holds your customers' money.

Your use of Stripe is governed by Stripe's own terms. You are responsible for refunds, disputes and chargebacks with your customers, and for any taxes on your sales.

We work to keep AlphaMAX running and your data backed up, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or improve features over time.

We schedule maintenance for quiet hours where we can, and tell you in advance about anything that affects how you work.

The software depends on outside services (phone carriers, email providers, Google, Stripe). We aren't responsible when one of them is down or changes its rules.

You can cancel at any time as set out in your agreement. Before your account closes, ask us and we'll give you an export of your customers, leads, quotes, jobs and invoices.

We delete your account data within 90 days of cancellation, except what we must keep by law (for example billing records), and backups that roll off on their normal schedule.

We may close an account for serious or repeated breach of these terms, or for non-payment after notice. You'll still be able to request your export.

We aren't liable for lost profits, lost jobs, or indirect or consequential damages from using or not being able to use the software, including missed or delayed messages.

Our total liability for any claim about AlphaMAX is limited to the fees you paid us for it in the three months before the claim arose.

We may update these terms as the software changes. We'll update the date at the top of this page and email account owners about significant changes before they take effect. Continuing to use the software after that means you accept them.
